Esther S White is an artist and arts organizer based in Northampton. Esther’s art practice includes printmaking; textile dyeing and needlework; publishing photocopied artists’ books and zines; and organizing community art events and spaces. Esther studied printmaking and photography at Barnard College, Columbia University (B.A. 2007), and the International Center of Photography. She is a member and instructor at Zea Mays Printmaking in Florence, an internationally recognized studio dedicated to safer printmaking practices. She is a member of of the Monotype Guild of New England and Boston Printmakers. www.estherswhite.net.

Stephen Petegorsky is an artist and freelance photographer who was born in New York City, but who has lived in the Northampton area for 40 years. He graduated from Amherst College in 1975 as a Fine Arts major, and later received an M.F.A. in Photography from Rhode Island School of Design. His creative work has been exhibited internationally, and is in collections throughout this country as well as in Europe. He has taught at Amherst College, Smith College, Hampshire College, and the University of Connecticut, and currently works as a freelance photographer specializing in photography of artworks. Elizabeth Meyersohn, born and raised in NYC, has lived in the Pioneer Valley since 1983. She received her BA from Smith College and an MFA in Painting from Yale School of Art. She had been painting luminous landscape-based paintings for many years; this fall, her work was displayed in solo exhibitions both at the Oresman Gallery at Smith College and the Oxbow Gallery in Northampton. In 2010, she was a recipient of a Pollock-Krasner grant in painting. Recently, she participated in international arts festivals in Shanghai, China, and JeounBuk, So Korea. She teaches drawing and painting part-time at Smith College and lives and works in Northampton. www.emeyersohn.com

Chicago native Rob Kimmel comes to the Valley after a 15-year stint in Brooklyn, where he taught at Pratt Institute and ran a small graphic design studio. His art has been exhibited in New York City, Chicago, and Western Massachusetts. Trained as a designer, artist, and actor, he is fascinated by storytelling that uses hybrids of word and image. Current obsessions include monsters, puppets, traditional ethnic costumes, and the textures of textiles, feathers, hair, and scales. www.robkimmeldesign.com

Dugan Hammock: “A native of Austin, TX, I grew up with with a fascination of all things mathematical. Throughout my academic career in Austin, Amherst, and Germany, my studies into geometric structures began melding with my long-standing hobby of computer graphics, animation, and rendering.
